Municipal Law:
The Firm has developed a substantial municipal law practice. Our lawyers serve as Village Attorneys for the Incorporated Villages of Mineola, Roslyn and New Hyde Park, tax certiorari counsel to the Village of Williston Park, as counsel to the Shelter Rock Public Library and the Bryant Library in Roslyn, as special counsel to the Franklin Square Public Library, and as counsel to a variety of municipal boards in other communities, offering advice on administrative, labor, zoning, SEQRA, personnel, real estate, tax certiorari, construction, public bidding and other legal matters. Our lawyers serve as Village Prosecutors to enforce local laws and state traffic laws. In addition, the Firm has also been retained by municipalities as special counsel to assist in the preparation and drafting of master land use plans and zoning codes. In fact, our attorneys have drafted the Zoning Codes for several Long Island municipalities. The Firm represents numerous public clients in construction and development projects including municipal buildings, community centers, libraries, fire houses and public works projects.
