Adoption:
The attorneys who practice in the area of Adoption Law have experience in both private placement and agency proceedings. Our attorneys are familiar with the particular needs of the birth parents, the adoptive parents and the adoptive child. Whether we are representing a birth parent or an adoptive parent through the placement and finalization process we are particularly sensitive to the emotional needs of our clients in guiding them through the process. In the private placement arena, we have acted as counsel to birth parents as well as adoptive parents in proceedings occurring within New York State as well as those supervised by the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children. In the agency arena, we have assisted adoptive parents in finalizing adoptions through various agencies in both domestic and international placements. The needs of our clients and the best interests of the adoptive child are our paramount concern.
